1. The service
Rebased provides cloud accounting software including invoicing, bills, bank reconciliation, payroll, reporting, and AI-assisted (“agent” and “Autopilot”) workflows. We may add, change, or remove features over time as the product evolves.
2. Accounts & eligibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for activity under your account, and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be authorised to act for any business you set up or connect, and you must be at least 18 years old.
3. Subscriptions, billing & taxes
Rebased offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription, with optional team-member seats and usage-based AI tokens. Paid fees are billed in advance and are stated in Australian dollars inclusive of GST unless noted otherwise. AI token usage is consumed on a transparent 1:1 basis and is non-refundable once used.
Where a firm pays a client’s subscription under consolidated billing, AI token usage remains the responsibility of the nominated usage payer and is never automatically charged to the firm’s payment method.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to breach security, reverse engineer the platform, interfere with other users, upload unlawful content, or use the service to violate any law or third-party rights.
5. Your data
You retain ownership of the data you put into Rebased. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, secure, and display that data to operate the service for you, including processing by AI features and trusted subprocessors. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Third-party connections
Rebased integrates with third parties such as bank-feed providers, payment processors, and the Australian Taxation Office (for example for Single Touch Payroll). Your use of those connections may also be subject to the third party’s terms, and we are not responsible for their services.
7. Not financial, tax or legal advice
Rebased is a software tool. Outputs — including agent suggestions, reconciliations, and reports — are provided to assist you and do not constitute financial, tax, accounting, or legal advice. You are responsible for reviewing and approving the work and for your own compliance obligations.
8. Availability & disclaimers
We work to keep Rebased available and accurate, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rebased Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Changes & termination
We may update these terms from time to time and will note the effective date above. You may stop using the service at any time, and we may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or where required by law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
